Red What I particularly love is how the first three tracks set the pace before releasing the listener into a spaceless never-ending void where the only sense you can use is your hearing. Unable to verify if the terrifying sounds that approach are real or your ears playing tricks on you.

All dark ambient projects pale in comparison. Favorite track: Unhallowed (Level - Geryon).

kovachikfan This soundtrack, along with Aubrey's Doom score, need to be played together and are easily some of the best game soundtracks ever made. Favorite track: Final Doom Playstation: Main Theme.

orapronobis The game that started it all for me. Years later I am still playing the classic Doom series on PC, but now with these tracks. Thank you Aubrey for creating such a wonderful experience. Favorite track: Unhallowed (Level - Geryon).
Driftless

Driftless Do you ever wake up at night?
Knowing that everything is fine?
And the fact that everything /is/ fine is what frightens you..?

That's the musical impact of Demon Drone. It's almost comforting, and that thin line of comfort is... Just listen to it. Then buy the album. Favorite track: Demon Drone (Level - Minos).
Squall

Squall As if the first PSX Doom's soundtrack wasn't lonely enough, the feeling really settles in with this soundtrack. Favorite track: Malignant (Level - Catwalk).

Todryk Michal Szczynko-Calcaterra Another truly eerie score by the only man who should ever score games. Favorite track: Breath Of Corruption (Level - Paradox).

about

Released in October of 1996, Final Doom was a chance for me to continue to explore and refine the dark ambient soundscapes first introduced in Doom Playstation. The project ended up sounding less musical at times than the tracks used in Doom but the effect was still nerve wracking. There is an edge to the tracks that is made more prominent by having larger dynamic ranges within each piece.
