Archmage Orladin I've been in love with Mr. Hodges music since I bought the PS1 Doom many years ago (since I had no PC in my youth, Playstation Doom was the shit). Infact, Aubrey is the one that initiated me into ambient music. All the skill at crafting ambient sonicscapes present on the PS1 and N64 Doom games is here, but this is calming, mysterious and a bit sad - rather than dark and psychotic. The man is a master. Favorite track: Remembering Pools.

Driftless Beautiful, most all the tracks are long, ambient, and have that strange mix of profundity and brittleness that brings to back the wild and untamed fantasy landscapes of the 80s90s. Remembering Pools is an amazing track, and almost worthy of purchase on it's own merit... Favorite track: Remembering Pools.

Kriztoffer Swank Some of the most calming and mystical ambient music I've heard. Takes you on a journey to a faraway world unreachable by any other means. Favorite track: Cavern Of Tears.

bepm Near two hours of monster's work for a beautiful ambient album. Remember or take a look about his high quality dark soundtracks...this one just goes the same way... a more lighter peaceful way... Favorite track: Cavern Of Tears.

CerebralBleach Aubrey's a master of atmosphere, immersion, and channeling emotional energy; that's a foregone conclusion to anyone familiar with his work on, say, the Doom and Quake ports. This album portrays a decidedly different emotional energy from those OSTs, but one that's every bit as exacting and exciting, replete with cinematic, goosebump-inducing moments (cf. Remembering Pools at 04:39) and all-out chest-pounding crescendos (cf. the intro to The Journey Begins). Beautiful work all the way through! Favorite track: Lifemist.
