Arpiccione The OST is a bit expensive, but worth the price if you want high quality, no matter which audio format you prefer.
It works well as a game soundtrack (which makes wonder why programs like GZDOOM don't make it an alternative soundtrack by default, good things modders think of everything) as it does as an ambient album to listen to while anticipating your next angst-induced nightmare. Favorite track: Digitized Pain (Level - Phobos Lab) Extended.

TweakerRay Well a extended version ... okay... have to get this too then ;-)

Thanks for the cool soundtrack ! Amazing work. Favorite track: Doom Playstation: Finale - 20th Anniversary Version.

Ashurii I fell in love with Doom when I was a kid. PSX Doom took the series to a whole new level with its darker atmosphere, both in graphics, and in music compositions. And Aubrey Hodges has taken this music to a whole new level with his beautifully constructed remixes. My favorite song was always The Broken Ones, which was used in the level Map E1M2, Plant. The remix of it is just amazing. Like so many other's out there, I use this music to go to sleep with. I highly recommend this album! Favorite track: The Broken Ones (Level - Plant) Extended.

about

The Sony PlayStation version of Doom was a conversion of Doom and Doom II by Williams Entertainment. It was released on November 16, 1995 and is still considered one of the most unique versions of Doom to this day.

While the original Doom on the PC used a midi rock soundtrack this version is largely comprised of dark ambient soundscapes designed to enhance the suspense of the levels. The result is a dark and brooding score that combined with the imagery of the levels serves to unnerve and rattle the player. The audio and visuals work together to really define the hellish nightmare that is the world of Doom.

This version features extended arrangements of all the level tracks, new versions of the Main Theme and Finale tracks and 8 all new bonus tracks created using the same techniques used 20 years ago. This album is over 5 1/2 hours of music!
